GG's Extensions Hair Management

Just like your own hair, synthetic hair will accumulate residue through normal wear. However, you do not need to wash the synthetic hair everyday to keep consistent results. The fiber should be washed as infrequently as possible or when you notice that the fiber appears dull. If you are wearing the hair all day, every day, we recommend you wash them after 4-6 wearings.

Before shampooing, gently remove any tangles or teasing with your fingers or a pick comb. Do not brush.

Add one teaspoonful of any mild shampoo to two quarts cold - never hot - water.

Immerse the hair and soak 3-5 minutes, then gently swish up and down. Do not rub.

Rinse thouroughly twice in cold water.

Dab gently with a towel to remove excess water. Do not squeeze or twist.

While still wet, spray with a leave in conditioner that is specifically formulated for synthetic hair goods.

Dry on a towel at room temperature.

Style with fingers or pick comb. You may use a hair dryer, blow dryer or curling iron. We suggest not using the curling iron on the extension while it is still soaking wet, the use of curling iron should be when hair is dry and you use a misting bottle to moisten hair, be aware of using excess heat. Do not brush or comb while wet.

 

Putting in the Hair

It takes just seconds and you can put the extensions in any time you like. 

 

  1. Take your extension and place the plastic line at top of your head approximately one inch from your hair line. 
  2. Make sure the plastic line is at the top and the wefts are in the back. 
  3. Let the hair extensions sit securely around the back of your head. 
  4. Once you have the correct placement you can pull out the hair around the plastic line making it invisible to the eye. 
  5. Once you have hidden the plastic line around your face area, simply pull out about ¼ to ½ of your own hair that sits above the wefts of hair on your extensions and have it lay on top of the extensions. 
  6. Use your fingers to blend your hair with the hair on the extensions.
